Amazone Wins Four Silver Medals at Agritechnica

Implement company displays multiple innovations.

Amazone had multiple technologies on display at Agritechnica 2011 and was awarded four silver medals.

WindControl helps spreaders maintain even patterns in heavy winds. The spreader has a weather station to detect wind speed and direction. An adjusting mechanism and control software are combined to change the rotation speed of the spreading disks and the point of fertilizer application.
HeadlandControl takes into account 3D application patterns for greater refinement of automated spreading across headlands.
AcuraSpray is a new software program for the Amazone terminal that includes the Smart Refill and Work-to-Zero modules. Smart Refill gives operators data for maximizing each refill process. The Work-to-Zero program calculates the application area to minimize leftover product in the tank.
BoomWash provides automatic outer cleaning of the spray boom. Prior to folding the boom for transport, the operator can start the cleaning process, and four nozzles move down the boom length.
