Brent Avalanche grain carts were first introduced in 1998. Two models, 1084 and 884, helped launched what has become a 25-year legacy of design refinements, capacity upgrades, and new features.

Avalanche carts are design to maximize unloading with high speeds and increased unloading height and reach. Features achieving this are:

  • On the on the two largest models auger lengths have been increased by 36” and unload rates are 1,000 bu. per minute.
  • The other three models have had auger lengths extended by 25” and have unload speeds up to 850 bu. per minute.
  • The augers fold to fit within the cart’s width, and either right or left hand unloading is possible.
  • Low-profile, dual-augers are powered by an exclusive drivetrain with a belt-driven 20”-diameter floor auger and heavy-duty, direct-drive 90-degree gearbox for the vertical auger
  • Steep-sloped hoppers help provide complete cleanout, even with high moisture corn
  • 5 SCV ports power all unload operations (fold/unfold the auger, pivot the auger up/down, open/close the 16” wide flow gates and operate the left/right and in/out operation of the downspout.)
  • A rounded adjustable 4-way auger downspout features a hydraulically driven gear motor for smooth left- and right-hand movement.

The models also feature larger observation windows. All models come with a standard Weatherguard tarp.

There’s single-point lubrication for auger components.

The standard scale package can be upgraded to the UHarvest Pro ISOBUS operated weighing system.

98 Series Avalanche carts can be outfitted with high flotation wheel and tire combinations or track configurations (including the Equalizer track undercarriage with 9-degrees of side-to-side movement and 20-degrees of up and down movement.)

Additional options are:

  • a five-function pistol-grip remote control of auger operations and downspout
  • water delivery system featuring a 275-gallon tank with 100’ of hose
  • electric tarp operation with wireless key fob control
