Now that the 2014 Agriculture Act of 2014 has been signed into law, focus has shifted to USDA’s efforts to implement and interpret the new provisions as well as to educate farmers on the choices and safety net tools it offers them.

In line with these efforts, Farm Service Agency has issued a “2014 Farm Bill Fact Sheet,” detailing what the new farm bill offers FSA customers.In it, farmers can find details about new safety net program options as well as a new crop insurance program for cotton, dairy policy updates, livestock disaster assistance program expansion, simplified adjusted gross income provisions, conservation title changes, and more.
