Farm Tax Network

We hope everyone had a great Holiday time with friends and family. Our first post of the new decade will provide information on our Farm Tax Network (FTN).

This is a subscription based service that provides about 10-12 detailed tax memos a year on more complex farm tax related items. You will not normally find this information on this blog or in other sources.

If you sign up, the memo is automatically emailed to you when it is released. FTN also allows the members to reach out to CLA farm tax personnel with farm tax related questions. If the answer requires additional research on our part, we will let you know and set up the appropriate engagement.

The most recent release (likely released today) outlines the changes to Kiddie Tax and why farmers should continue to make gifts to their children and pay appropriate wages.

The FTN annual fee is $325. If you are interested in subscribing, please send an email to Cathy Olson. Her email address is cathy.olson@claconnect.com.
