Can NAFTA Deal Be Reached By Week’s End?

This week, the House and Senate  are on recess, but there could be significant movement on the trade front both with China and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Officials with the Trump administration are jetting to Beijing to negotiate on trade policy and intellectual property.

Much of the discussion is focusing on recent tariff and retaliatory tariffs announcements between the world’s two largest economies.

NAFTA negotiators are working furiously to try and reach a deal in principle by the end of this week.

Michelle Rook reports on the trade progress from Washington D.C. on AgDay above.
