Brazil’s largest farmer cooperative Coamo, based in the state of Paraná, said growers are hoarding soybeans amid a drop in domestic prices, the company’s board chairman told Reuters. Coamo’s forward soybean sales for the 2022-23 crop are estimated at 5% of total projected output, compared with 25% to 30% last year at this time
