BREAKING NEWS: China Making Another Big Buy of U.S. Soybeans

It’s reported China is buying more U.S. soybeans.

It’s reported China is buying more U.S. soybeans. Reuters is reporting Chinese state-owned firms bought about 1.5 mmt of soybeans on Thursday. The orders would be shipped in July and August. Reuters quoted three traders with knowledge about the deals.

The buy comes as U.S. and Chinese negotiators meet in Beijing to try and work out a trade deal between the two countries.

The latest USDA Export Sales report shows that from March 15 to March 21st, China was also the top buyer of U.S. corn. The country purchased 300,000 mt of the total corn sales of 905,500 mt.
