$200 Double Your Money Winner:

Catwalk Adds Safety

When I added tramlines to my no-till drill, I needed a safe way to access the clutches under the tank. So, I built a catwalk with 2’x10' treated lumber and angle iron. Then I added a 2’x4' hand rail. The catwalk is bolted to the drill’s frame with two bolts, so it’s easily removed. It took all of two hours and was made from scrap material. Telescoping Gutter Wand Cleans Semi

After paying $50 for a poorly executed undercarriage wash at the truck wash, I bought a telescoping gutter wand. It attaches to the garden hose and is designed to flush out leaves from roof gutters with a high-pressure blast. Using the wand, I can clean under my semi, on top of its roof and all the other hard-to-reach places.

Homemade Calf Wagon

I needed a simple way to move newborn calves to the calf barn. I started with an old wagon and welded hog panels between four corner posts. A sliding panel gate between the rear posts makes loading the calf quick and easy.
