Our loader tractor didn’t have enough weight in the back to balance a heavy load, so we built a three-point frame from scrap iron. On the front of the frame, we added front suitcase weights, saved from a tractor we traded, which added 1,200 lb. to the rear of the tractor. The only cost was a set of three-point pins to mount the attachment to the tractor. An open toolbox was added behind the supporting bracket to hold chains and hitch pins.

Hydraulic Coupler Mount

We obtained a combine header that didn’t have a “docking station” for our hydraulic multicoupler. So we used rubber belting from a grain leg to create a quick and secure docking station for the coupler. Cut keyhole slots to catch the side-mounted studs. No secondary latch is needed, and the docking station works well for road transport.

Grinder Storage

I organized the grinders in my shop by making a 4½" rack from 2" angle iron on my welding table. First, I welded the angle iron between the legs of the table. With a plasma cutter, cutting torch or grinder with a cutoff blade, make a cutout wide enough for the grinder head to rest in place. The guard shield holds the grinder on the rack.
