A March 28 auction in Stevens Co., Kan., saw 160 acres sell for $2,050 an acre. The farm was located six miles southwest of Woods. It featured 120 acres of center-pivot irrigated cropland along with the irrigation rig. There were 36 acres of dryland cropland.

In addition, the same auction featured 320 acres located five miles north of Woods. It offered 240 acres of center-pivot irrigated cropland along with the irrigation equipment. There were an additional 74 acres of dryland cropland in the tract. The offering sold for $1,875 an acre.
