Want to know how much farmers in your county are paying for cash rent? The answer is only a click away.

The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) has published it’s first-ever set of county-level data for cash rental rates.

The published information includes 2008 average rental rates for:

  • non-irrigated cropland
  • irrigated cropland
  • pastureland

You can access cash rental rates at the state, county or crop reporting district levels.

According to information from NASS, the information is being provided due to customer requests and new requirements in the 2008 Farm Bill.
