Land Sale of the Week: $10,900/acre in South-Central Iowa

An April 24 auction saw 59.5 acres in Marion Co., Iowa, sell for $10,900 an acre. The farm was located 4 miles north of Pella. The property had 58.5 tillable acres and featured a CSR2 of 84.2. The county average cropland CSR2 is 57.6. The buyer receives 100% of the 2017 cash lease at closing.
