National gasoline prices fell in all regions over the week ending October 19, but all regions were up on the year-over. All regional diesel fuel prices were also lower week-over with the exception of PADD1A in the East Coast region. All diesel prices were higher compared to the same period last year.
Gasoline-
Average national retail price for regular gasoline was down $0.132 last week to $3.687/gallon, $0.225 higher than the same period last year. East Coast gasoline was lower $0.092 to $3.700; Midwest gasoline lower to $3.487/gallon, down $0.198; Gulf Coast PADD3 $0.095 lower to $3.449/gallon. Rocky Mountain gasoline softens $0.029 to $3.705.
West Coast gasoline fell $0.146 to $4.245 but remained the highest priced gasoline in the U.S.
Highway Diesel-
National average price for highway diesel lower last week by $0.034 to $4.116/gallon, up $0.291 over the same time last year. Rocky Mountain Region added $0.025 to $4.243/gallon; East Coast diesel $0.020 lower at $4.108, East Coast PADD1A, the New England area, showed the only increase week-over, adding $0.005. Midwest diesel $0.049 lower on the week to $4.101/gallon. The West Coast region shed $0.043, lower on the week to $4.195.
