Kinze Manufacturing and Yetter Farm Equipment Manufacturing have combined over 150 years of experience to release a new strip-till tool, the Falcon SF700. Built around the Kinze 5700 toolbar platform and integrated with Yetter 2984 Strip Freshener CC row unit technology, it is designed to create an ideal seedbed environment while maintaining residue between rows and supporting precise nutrient placement.

“Strip-till continues to gain momentum as growers look for ways to improve efficiency, preserve soil structure and optimize nutrient placement,” says Susanne Kinzenbaw Veatch, president of Kinze Manufacturing Inc.

Two Legacy Companies, One Shared Vision

The family-owned companies, which date back to 1965 for Kinze and 1930 for Yetter, share that teamwork on the strip-till tool has been seamless.

It’s been phenomenal, almost unrealistic because it’s just been so easy working together,” says Andy Thompson, Yetter Farm Equipment strip-till product director.

In addition to the 5700 toolbar platform, Kinze contributes the weight transfer system, flotation, transport design and planter integration experience. Yetter contributes its 2984 Strip Freshener CC row unit technology and decades of strip-till agronomic expertise.

  • High transport clearance
  • Articulating clevis hitch – Cat 4 or 5
  • In-cab control box for row cleaners, rolling baskets and row unit down pressure
  • Weight transfer
  • Universal GPS mount
  • Shark Tooth conditioning wheels
  • Pneumatic rolling basket
  • 1.5″ to 4″ operating depth
  • Pneumatic row unit down force
  • Parallel linkage
  • Optional 1,500-gallon liquid fertilizer capacity

The strip freshener is available in 36 row 22″, 36 row 20″, 24 row 30″, 24 row 22″, 24 row 20″ and 16 row 30″ configurations.

“The combination of those two pieces of equipment is going to provide a high quality, high precision, very robust strip freshener machine for our customers,” says Todd Kniffen, senior vice president of engineering and global product manager for Kinze.
