Case IH is releasing its new Axial-Flow 260 series combine, available in June of 2024 for pre-order.

Information on pricing will be provided at a later date, according to Case IH.

The company says its Axial-Flow 260 Series is the 13th generation in the Axial-Flow family. The new harvester’s footprint fits within AEM Class 7, Class 8, or Class 9 combine classification tiers (depending on final configuration).

Most noteworthy is that growers who purchase the combine have access to subscription-free, integrated technology for the working life of the machine.

“We are bundling technologies to provide everything the producer needs to harvest without having singular or multiple activations or connectivity fees to have the machine field ready,” a company spokesperson shares with Farm Journal.

“There are no subscriptions or activations required to run the machine,” adds Leo Bose, harvesting segment lead at Case IH.

Bose says subscription-free connectivity enables customers to remotely view machine and agronomic data via the new FieldOps platform, which will launch later in 2024. It will also help maintain the machine’s resale value in the future.

Additional Details

  • The Axial-Flow 260 is equipped with Harvest Command combine automation, which automatically optimizes settings to maximize throughput and grain quality.
  • A new ActiveTrac four-roller hydraulic suspended track system provides a larger operational footprint, reducing compaction and increasing flotation by 14% compared to fixed track offerings.
  • The operator’s cab features high-resolution Pro 1200 Dual Displays, providing access to machine metrics, field performance and grain quality in real-time.
  • Operators can experience improved on-row accuracy, minimized header losses and less fatigue with the all new RowGuide Pro and AccuGuide autoguidance systems.
  • AccuSync with in-field data sharing between multiple machines is also included, no subscription required.

“The Pro 1200 Dual Displays give me complete visibility with all my combine data on one monitor and coverage maps on the other, so I’m no longer flipping back and forth between screens,” says Paul Paplow, farmer, custom harvester and vice president at U.S. Custom Harvesters, Inc.
