Here are seven reasons to attend the 2024 Top Producer Summit, taking place Feb. 5 to 7 in Kansas City, MO. Register today and reserve your hotel before the block expires on Jan. 5.

1. Awards

At the annual Top Producer awards banquet five farmers will be honored as Top Producer of the Year Finalists, the recipient of the Women in Ag Award, and the recipient of the Top Producer Next Gen Award.

At the end of the night, the Top Producer of the Year will be announced.

2. Breakouts Provide In-Depth Details

There are 18 breakout sessions, plus 12 sponsored educational sessions, to chose from. Top categories span inputs, marketing, the ag economy, technology, leadership, and more.

Full agenda available here.

3. General Sessions To Make You Think Outside of the Box

Vanessa O’Brien is the first person to complete the “Explorers’ Extreme Trifecta” (female), and she will share a message of how to achieve great things and challenge yourself. Howard Buffett will be part of a fireside chat about what’s he’s seen in Ukraine, the future of that conflict and its impact on global agriculture. A young entrepreneur, Kyle Scheele, who refers to himself as the ‘patron saint of crazy ideas’ will stir creativity in your thinking and execution.

On top of those mind-expanding general sessions, the group will receive timely updates and outlooks on the ag economy from Nathan Kaufman at the KC Fed, 2024 political outlook from Jim Wiesemeyer, and a weather update from Nutrien Ag Solutions’ Eric Snodgrass.

Hear more about the agenda from Margy Eckelkamp, editor of Top Producer.

4. Next Gen Farmers

Integrated throughout the program are sessions with takeaways specifically for the emerging leaders on the farm.

5. Women in Ag

With specific breakout sessions, women leaders on the farm can take part in educational sessions and networking.

6. Succession Planning Pre-conference Workshop

Use the topics and tools included in The DIRTT Project to jump-start the succession planning process for your operation - whether you are just beginning or need to get on track. Facilitated by Rena Striegel, the one-day workshop takes place on Feb. 5.

7. Networking

From the kickoff to the conclusion, networking is part of the DNA Of Top Producer Summit. When you arrive on Feb. 5, take part in early bird table topics. And then on Wednesday night, a social outing takes place at Kansas City Power and Light district.

Make your plans today to join the leaders of the industry at the 2023 Top Producer Summit.
