Sources familiar with Informa Economics say the firm has released its 2012 U.S. acreage estimates. Following are details:
- Corn: Informa reportedly pegs acreage at 95.513 million acres, up 3.592 million from 2011.
- Soybeans: Informa reportedly pegs acreage at 75.128 million acres, up 152,000 from 2011.
- All cotton: Informa reportedly pegs acreage at 13.698 million acres, down 1.034 million from 2011.
- Spring wheat: Informa reportedly pegs acreage at 13.793 million acres, up 1.399 million from 2011.
- Winter wheat: Informa reportedly pegs acreage at 41.537 million acres, up 891,000 from 2011.
- All wheat: Informa reportedly pegs acreage at 57.745 million, up 3.336 million from 2011.
