Informa Updates Acreage Pegs

Sees corn, soybean and spring wheat acres up from USDA’s March pegs.

Informa Economics has reportedly updated its acreage estimates. They follow:

  • Corn: Informa reported at 96.759 million acres, up 895,000 acres from USDA’s March estimate.
  • Soybeans: Informa reportedly at 75.959 million acres, up 2.057 million acres from USDA’s March estimate.
  • Cotton: Informa reportedly at 12.97 million acres, down 185,000 acres from USDA’s March estimate.
  • Spring wheat: Informa reportedly at 13.476 million acres, up 1.5 million acres from USDA’s March estimate.
