Utility Tractors Hit the Road
Starting in January, John Deere will be canvassing the Southeast as part of the company’s Drive Green Utility Tractor Show. The road show, which continues through April, will be a series of events in locations stretching from Texas to Virginia. Each stop will feature new tractors from the 6D, 5D, 5E, 5E Limited, 5M and 3E Series. To get from point A to point B, the tractors will be loaded into the Drive Green truck. It’s a 2006 Kenworth power unit with a brand-new 53' utility van trailer. While driving down the road, the driver accidently engaged the PTO on the grain cart. When he looked over his shoulder to see if the auger was running, he veered off into the ditch. His attempt to gain control exaggerated the calamity.
