Today, farmers and ranchers across the U.S. and in Washington, D.C. are making a special effort to advocate for agriculture in observance of National Ag Day.
Although some farmers are cynical about the effort, claiming it’s the day farmers preach to the choir, most seem excited about the opportunity to share their stories.
One easy way to share your story as part of the Ag Day effort is through the app Snapchat. Snapchat created a “Farm Life” story for the day.
Here’s what you need to do to participate:
- Log into your Snapchat account.
- Click on the Farm Life story.
- Share a snap of life on your farm today.
Whether you’re doing field work, shop work or taking care of livestock, you can take a quick photo or video of your life to share with consumers also using the app.
