CPC 30-Day Forecast: Above-Normal Temps for Central U.S

The 90-day outlook is for below normal precip for much of the southern U.S.

The National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center (CPC) has issued its extended weather forecasts. The outlook for October calls for above-normal temps across the central third of the United States. Below-normal precip is expected to extend from the the Southern Plains to the central and eastern Corn Belt.

In its 90-day outlook, CPC looks for warmer conditions for the lower half of the U.S., extending into the central, northern and eastern Corn Belt. Below-normal precip is expected for much of the southern U.S. _30DayTemp_91511.jpg meghanbobo.JPG
