There are few things as quintessential American Fall as a corn maze. Generations have experienced this festive Fall activity, traditionally accompanied by a pumpkin patch. Culver’s hopes to tie this fun tradition back to its roots: the American farmer.
Through the Culver’s Thank You Farmers™ initiative, 33 corn mazes in 19 states have been grown with more than 7 million seeds since the program started in 2014. Culver’s says those seeds represent seeds of gratitude for the hard work of America’s farmers.
“Corn mazes are such a natural place for us to celebrate America’s farmers,” said Jessie Corning, Culver’s senior marketing manager. “A popular fall tradition among families, they’re a great way for us to spread the Thank You Farmers message to guests of all ages.”
Culver’s got the idea for growing Thank You Farmers corn mazes in 2014 from a group of agriculture students. Since that time, the restaurant chain has grown mazes from Arizona to South Carolina and up to Michigan. This year Culver’s corn mazes can be found in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Utah, and Wisconsin.
