Sources familiar with Informa Economics say the group has updated their acreage estimates. According to our sources, the group sees increases to soybean acres from last year, but projects corn and cotton acres down from year-ago levels.

Informa reportedly pegs corn acres at 82.739 million, down from 85.982 million in 2008; they peg soybean acreage at 80.815 million, up from 75.718 million in 2008; they peg upland cotton at 8.18 million, down from 9.296 million in 2008.
