Soybean research funding in South Dakota is helping to find natural solutions for soybean aphids.
The possible answer? Wasps.
Dave Iverson, chairman of the South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council, says wasps will be released into producer fields to help diminish the soybean aphid population.
Iverson says the research is looking at how wasps could help eliminate spraying for aphids or at least delaying the application
