This week, Case IH launched a range of producer-focused solutions, including combine, tractor and precision technology upgrades, to make operations more productive and efficient.
“At Case IH, we use the ‘Built by Farmers’ tagline, and that’s not just a tagline, that’s true,” says Ryan Kau, customer segment lead for hay and forge for Case IH. “We’re sitting down and we’re talking to our producers, taking that input and finding ways to be more productive with the information they give.”
Axial-Flow 160 Combine Series
For model year 2027, the technology stack on the Class 6 and Class 7 Axial-Flow 160 series has been upgraded to include:
- Dual Pro 1200 displays enable a live in-cab view of the GrainCam and deliver remote display view and real-time monitoring functionality to FieldOps.
- Vector Pro receiver and RowGuide Pro improve row guidance along with AccuTurn Pro end-of-row turning for hands-free automated steering. Connectivity is included.
- Ordering is simple thanks to two technology package offerings and subscription-free technology, providing a field-ready machine.
A variety of sensors on the Axial-Flow 160 have also been upgraded for enhanced responsiveness and reliability. A grain tank dual cross auger shut-off prevents grain loss and more dependable operation.
Axial-Flow 260 Combine Series
For 2027, the Axial-Flow 260 series combine, ranging from 402 hp to 550 hp, will include:
- Standard LED light packages to enhance visibility.
- New cast iron con rotor vanes that extend the lifespan of both the cone and the cage to boost longevity.
- ActiveTrac scrapers to reduce track wear as they clear mud and debris from the sprocket.
- Shorter unloading spout for improved grain cart clearance
- Expanded spreader speed range to allow for greater control when harvesting with a narrower head.
- 28.5-inch ActiveTrac option for operations requiring a narrow working footprint.
Steiger Tractors
For those long days working in the field, MY2027 Steiger tractors will sport a range of enhancements designed to improve comfort, convenience and performance. These updates include:
- Redesigned black cab interior.
- Integrated storage areas built into the floor.
- Optional integrated in-cab refrigerator on Premium Luxury cab models.
- Enhanced Smart Torque 2.0 hydraulic technology for high-demand applications.
- Expanded rear ballast availability across the Quadtrac lineup.
Optum Tractor Series
The Optum series, featuring models up to 435 hp, are equipped with independent front suspension and the ability to reach a 35-mph road speed for efficient transportation. For all MY2027 tractors, Max Protect Coverage will come standard, which includes a 3-year/3,000-hour factory warranty and a planned maintenance agreement.
Puma Tractor Series
Case IH says their Puma tractors, ranging from 150 hp to 240 hp, set a new standard for reliability and efficiency through a reimagined operator experience and the latest precision technology. The new tractor design delivers a smoother ride with enhanced maneuverability to elevate operator ease and comfort.
Magnum Tractors Honor Agricultural Heritage
In celebration of 250 years of American agriculture, the one-of-a-kind, hand-painted Case IH Providence Magnum 355 tractor represents the future of agriculture. Along with the Heartland Magnum 265, built to honor the historical roots and generations of American farmer, the tractors are being showcased around the country. The tractors will be sold at the Aumann Vintage Power fall harvest auction on Nov. 5, and all net proceeds will go to the National FFA organization.
Nutri-Tiller Expansion
Case IH recently added a 16-row folding mounted toolbar to its Nutri-Tiller 1000 series.
WD6 Series Windrower
A first-of-its-kind relative yield mapping technology is featured on the new Case IH WD6 series windrower. It gives producers the ability to view a map of relative in-field yield variations while harvesting through Case IH FieldOps. It provides actionable agronomic insights for year-over-year optimization.
“Our relative yield mapping really gives our producers an insight that they haven’t had before. Now we can look through a visual map identifying the productive areas,” Kau says.
