AEM Releases August 2012 Flash Report

Association gives data for tractor and combine monthly sales.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has released its monthly flash report for August 2012.

Total unit sales are above the five-year average and data from the previous four years.

For the month, total two-wheel-drive tractor sales were up 13.9% compared with data from 2011. Four-wheel-drive tractor sales were up 49.1% compared with 2011. And combine sales were up 7.1% compared with 2011.
For year-to-date, compared with 2011, the data for 2012 shows total farm tractor sales up 8.3%, and combine sales are down 11.8%.
