AEM Releases February 2013 Flash Report

Tractor sales rose 17% year-to-date, while combine sales rose nearly 42%.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has released its monthly sales report for the U.S. (for the full report, click here)

Total unit sales are slightly above both the five-year average and sales in the past three years.

For the month of February 2013, total two-wheel drive tractor sales were up 13.5% compared with data from 2012. Four-wheel-drive tractor sales were up more than 24% compared with 2012, while combine sales rose by nearly 72%.

A year-to-date comparison shows total farm tractor sales are up 17% and combine sales are up nearly 42%.
