AEM Reports April 2012 Machinery Sales

Ag tractor and combine unit retails rise above year-to-year numbers.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers has reported its ag industry sales for April 2012.

Overall, retail unit sales reached the monthly five-year average and were above the sales in April for the previous three years.

Year-to-date, tractor sales are up 4.9%, but four-wheel-drive units are down 2.2%.
