AGCO is expanding its Fendt Momentum planter lineup with a smaller width option: 30’.
The Fendt Momentum lineup now spans 30’ to 60’ machines with liquid and dry fertilizer systems, and in 12- and 23-row configurations with 30” and 15” spacing, respectively.
Momentum planters feature the Vertical Contouring Toolbar (VCT) to follow the topography of the field terrain for 52" of vertical planting range.
Row units are built with the AGCO SmartFrame to deliver effective row cleaning, downforce, furrow creation, seed placement and closing.
Momentum planters are also built with Load Logic weight management to minimize soil compaction, and wide in-line tandem wheels eliminate pinch rows. The planter’s in-line tandem wheel design and Very-High Flexion (VF) tires minimize compaction, and an optional central tire inflation system automatically adjusts tire pressure to reduce compaction.
The models feature high capacity for on-board carrying capacity of seed, liquid fertilizer and dry fertilizer. Specifically, the 30’ model can carry 100 bu. of seed and 800 gallon of liquid fertilizer.
“We’ve worked hard to expand our product lineup here in North America, and we’re excited to bring greater flexibility to farmers with the Momentum planter line,” said Arthur Santos, marketing manager for Fendt planters at AGCO. “This addition allows family-owned farms and smaller operations to experience the best in agronomic planting, increasing their yields and improving their bottom lines.”
Momentum planters were first introduced in 2020 and are manufactured in Beloit, Kansas. The series is included in Fendt’s Gold Star Customer Care Program (a three-year warranty with no deductible and annual postseason inspections.)
