AgriSync, a startup focusing on a mobile connectivity platform for farmers and trusted advisers, has been acquired by John Deere.

Per an AgriSync announcement, the focus going forward will be on the Deere-branded version of the product, and in the future the AgriSync brand and its services will be sunset.

Some details are provided on the AgriSync website for current customers who have questions about using the app going forward.

AgriSync’s customer base was serving hundreds of farm equipment dealerships.

The startup worked to deliver on three benefits to its service:

  • Reduce expensive field visits
  • Increase uptime for farmers
  • Improve the team’s productivity
