Smaller horsepower tractors, less than 40 to 50 horse, have been the hottest section of the used tractor market for the last year.

Machinery Pete recently saw a good example at an auction in northern Vermont of a 1987 John Deere 750, a 20 horsepower machine with 1,190 hours brought $6,100, tied for the highest price he’s seen in 8 years.
