1963 Massey-Ferguson 65 LP

This tractor is featured for the month of July in the 2013 Classic Farm Tractors Calendar.

It’s a good-looking, high-performing tractor with good genes from Massey-Harris and Harry Ferguson. The MF-65 tractors were offered in gasoline, diesel and LP-gas. This model carried a Continental 4-cyl. 176 cid engine. In Nebraska Test, the gas model indicated about 43 belt hp. It features MultiPower 12-speed transmission. Weight: 4,185 lb. The owner calls it “a real neat tractor that’s been on a slew of tractor drives, and plows like a trooper, pulling a 3-bottom John Deere plow.” In 1953, Massey-Harris merged with Harry Ferguson. In the early 1970s, MF products were being built in 87 factories in 30 different countries.
