1973 Minneapolis-Moline G 1355 LP Wheatland

It’s rare in more ways than one, and it’s about as complete as they come. This model was built only in 1973-74 in Charles City, Iowa and was a twin to the Oliver, with a different color. It was also one of the last LP M-M models with its 504 cid engine producing right at 135 hp. Owner Dick Lowry added the sun visor to the factory-built cab; otherwise, it’s the same as it was when it worked Oklahoma wheat fields before he purchased it. The last Minneapolis-Moline tractors were built in 1974. Minneapolis-Moline was known for its rugged, powerful and innovative tractors, and wore the Energy Yellow color with pride.

Owner: Richard Lowry
Francesville, Ind.
Dick began collecting Minneapolis-Moline tractors 40 years ago, has most of the models, and still farms with his favorite brand. He and wife Martha go to M-M conventions and tractor shows. It’s one of the finest collections in the country.
This tractor is featured for the month of May in the 2013 Classic Farm Tractors Calendar. A companion DVD is also available which runs 80 minutes and features all of the tractors and their owners. To order the calendar and/or DVD, call 800-888-8979 or go to www.classictractors.com.
