Success is a moving target and is defined by one’s age and stage in life. Early goals of asset and wealth ac-cumulation have been replaced for me over time. Family, health, friends, community and contentment have be-come much more important. Achieving success without a sense of purpose is just meaningless.”

Profit is going to be the first thing for me. Farming is not a hobby; it’s a business. Secondly, it’s about how my people are treated. We take great pride in offering retirement options, insurance, etc. We also appreciate our employees’ families and want them to go to the football games and recitals. Finally, our goal is to be a good steward of the resources we have.”
