Sources familiar with Informa Economics say the firm has updated its crop estimates ahead of next week’s USDA November Crop Production Report. Following are details:
Corn: Informa at 12.549 billion bu., with a yield of 149.5 bu. per acre. Compares to USDA’s October peg of 12.433 billion bu. and yield of 148.1 bu. per acre.
Soybeans: Informa at 3.082 billion bu., with a yield of 41.8 bu. per acre. Compares to USDA’s October peg 3.060 billion bu. and a yield of 41.5 bu. per acre.
- All cotton: Informa at 16.463 million lbs., with a yield of 802 lbs. per acre. Compares to USDA’s October peg of 16.608 milion lbs. and a yield of 809 lbs. per acre.
