A 45% rally in soybean prices in 11 months was not enough to convince farmers like South Dakota farmer DuWayne Bosse to give up any corn acreage this spring.

One thing wheat growers think a lot about during planting is the how many pounds of seed they’ll need to put down per acre.

Farm Journal College Wheat agronomist Phil Needham says seed size is a big part of that equation.
