Lemken Wins Two Silver Medals at Agritechnica 2011

Innovations in seeding provide greater consistency despite variability.

Lemken company has been awarded two silver medals at Agritechnica 2011.

The Anti-Slip Regulator (ASR) provides measure the speed of travel and compares it with the rotary speed of the furrow press roller. The measured slip can be used to regulate the three-point lift of the tractor, and weight is shifted from the roller to the tractor until the slip is eliminated. In light conditions, particularly, this system will provide greater uniformity in depth.
The Automatic Coulter Pressure Regulator also ensures greater uniformity in seed depth. A sensor measures the depth at the guidance roller and as pressure changes, the system regulates depth.
