Here comes another “Spirit of 76" tractor for sale.

This 1976 Case 1570 “Spirit of 76" tractor from Elnora, IN is coming up for sale on a Bigiron.com online auction March 7th. The tractor is showing 5,206 hours. Here’s a link to the online listing with more pics and information, plus online bidding: https://www.bigiron.com/Lots/1976J.ICaseSpiritof7615702WDTractor Looks like the current online bid is up to $5,400.

If it seems like you just saw a super nice “Spirit of 76" 1570 sold at auction, that’s because you did...on a December 2, 2017 auction in Olney, IL, sale by Rothrock Auction, LLC. That “Spirit of 76" was a record setter, selling for $34,000. The 1976 model had only 1,682 “1 owner” hours on it and had always been shedded. Here’s a picture of it:

I believe Case only made around 200 of these 1570 “Spirit of 76" tractors back in the day to honor our nation’s Bi-centennial year. Will be interesting to see how high the one on the March 7th Bigiron.com online auction from Indiana sells for. Here’s a look at the Case 1570 “Spirit of 76" tractors I’ve seen sold at auction over the years:
