40 plus years old, very nice condition, low hours. That is a sure recipe for strong auction selling price on tractors of any color.

This was proved once again Saturday (February 10, 2018) on an auction by Schmid Auction & Realty Co. (http://www.trentschmid.com) in Teutopolis, IL. On the sale Saturday was the sharp Massey Ferguson 1135 tractor pictured below with only 3,511 hours:

This Massey Ferguson 1135 with 3,511 hours sold for $9,000 on the Illinois auction Saturday. That is tied for the 2nd highest auction sale price I’ve seen on an 1135 the past 18 years.
