From the “Just Because” file...

A Machinery Pete Facebook follower from Thailand sent me a video link this morning...”World’s Fastest Combine Harvester”. Of course I was intrigued.

Turns out a pair of guys from Finland took a vintage Fahr M44 combine and souped it up, big time, and then hit the drag strip with it. The result? 80.51 mph over 16 seconds. Here’s video of this hurrying harvester....the Finnish Fahr M44 Super Flyer let’s call it:

I found a cool article about the machine on Dragzine.com web site, here’s a link: https://www.dragzine.com/news/the-worlds-fastest-farm-implement-twin-turbo-caddy-for-power/

Some folks will certainly ask “Why?”. The answer of course is “Why Not?”
