$200 Double Your Money Winner: Folding grain bed ladder
To make climbing my grain bed easier and safer, I used 14-gauge, 1" square steel tubing to build a ladder with a bottom rung that’s as low as my cab’s running board. When not in use, it pivots against the bed on a ¼"x7" steel hinge plate. The side rail tops are angled 15 degrees so they don’t interfere with the bed’s roll tarp, and two tarp straps secure the folded ladder. Mark raises beef cattle, soybeans and grain sorghum.

Corral that bandsaw dust
Every farmer needs a bandsaw, and every bandsaw makes a mess. So I found an empty 5-gal. pail with a lid and drilled a 3" diameter hole. Then, I took a 3" flex pipe and taped it to the bandsaw exhaust and stuck it in the pail to catch the sawdust.

Air Cleaner Wingnut and Handle
I’ve always disliked fumbling with wingnuts on air cleaner lids while standing in a precarious position and trying to knock the lids loose. So I welded a piece of flat steel to the wingnuts and added handles to the lid to make the process easier.
