Crop Tour, Eastern Leg: Day 3 Audio Reports

Doug Miller, a Greene, Iowa, farmer is attending his second ProFarmer Crop Tour. He’s seeing lower soybean pod counts and a build up of aphids in Iowa soybean fields. He also offers preview of the fourth and final day of the tour, which takes the participants through his home area.

Fabio Meneghin with Agro Consult in Brazil is on his third ProFarmer Crop Tour and he is generally disappointed in the quality of the corn crop this year, but he says there is still potential for a good soybean crop. However, he says the lateness of the crop is reason for concern.
