1947 Massey Harris Pony

Cover tractor of the month Fastline Tennessee edition.

Owned and restored by Hollis Knox, Halls, Tenn.

This project was long overdue. Hollis Knox bought the Pony in the summer of 2000 for $300. It sat under a shed until the fall of 2009. Knox is a World War II veteran who served in the Navy in the Pacific theater from 1943 to 1946. He lived on the Halls, Tenn., farm his father purchased in 1942. The family actually had to move off their previous farm when it was used to build a WWII Air Force base. Knox is now 86 years old and enjoys tinkering around the farm with old tractors.
