This 1959 Model 630 Hi-Crop is featured in the Art of the John Deere Tractor. The 630 models were produced from 1958 to 1960, and it is estimated 18,000 tractors were built. This example has been used the serial number 6315987, which signifies it as the last of its kind off the line.
The machines in The Art of the John Deere Tractor by Lee Klancher were hand selected from the more than 400 John Deere tractors in the collect of Walter and Bruce Keller. The Brillion, Wisc. father and son team have more than 600 tractors spread across seven buildings and a custom-built brick showroom with glass windows. In the book 30 tractors were photographed in studio built on the Keller farm for this book which aims to highlight the design, style and art of the John Deere tractor history.
