AgConnect Expo

This blog post comes to you thanks to the relationship between the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) - and its new Ag trade show, AG CONNECT Expo - and Farm Journal Media.

A year ago on July 28, AEM launched AG CONNECT Expo at the 2008 Ag Media Summit (AMS), and what a great event it was as the site for our announcement.

Martin Richenhagen, AGCO Corp. President/CEO and AEM Board Chairman for 2008, said it best at the Summit last year: “One thing agriculture always depends on is the agriculture media. Without you, the communicators, so much useful information would not reach the producers who value it the most. … You are leaders in agriculture … and we are all here today to give you the opportunity to run with a story of something both new and positive.” You can see the text of Richenhagen’s comments here.

If you missed it earlier, you can still see the brief video of the AG Connect Expo launch on YouTube.

This year AMS will be another great event, and we also anticipate the wonderful opportunity to meet with members of the 53rd Congress of the International Federation of Agriculture Journalists who will be joining us all at AMS.

We look forward to the Summit, and of course to seeing you at AG CONNECT Expo, January 13-15, 2010 (Preview Day January 12 by special admission) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
