This was no “Average” tractor.

Nope, the John Deere 4560 MFWD tractor sold on a farm auction last Saturday (April 14, 2018) in south-central Pennsylvania (Hanover, PA) was a real beauty. It was a “1 owner” tractor with only 2,839 hours on it. Here’s a picture of it:

Sold for $57,000.

That is the highest auction sale price on a John Deere 4560 in 37 mo., since a 4560 sold for $68,000 on a dealer auction in Berlin, WI back on March 2, 2015.

If we talk averages...the last (18) John Deere 4560’s I’ve seen sold at auction going back to the start of 2017, the Avg. Auction Price = $26,385. Back on a January 18, 2018 farm auction in Manito, IL we filmed a 1992 John Deere 4560 2WD tractor with 3,788 hours selling for our Machinery Pete TV show on RFD-TV (Airs Saturdays 12:30 PM CST, also seen on 38 regional TV stations every weekend), it went for $42,000. Here’s video of it selling:
