This was one nice sale.
Today, in central Illinois, the farm retirement auction for Larry and Judy Wubben. The sale today was by my good friend Mike Maske with Mike Maske Auction Service (http://www.maskeauction.com).
The tractor that really caught my eye heading into the sale was the 2013 John Deere 8360R pictured below with only 280 hours on it.
It sold for $226,000. That is the highest auction sale price on an 8360R in 26 months, since a 2013 model 8360R with 430 hours, IVT, ILS, Ext. warranty, sold for $230,000 on an absolute on site dealer auction in west-central Nebraska back on August 23, 2015. Another tractor on today’s Williamsville, IL farm retirement auction that caught my eye was the 1994 model John Deere 4560 2WD with only 3,200 hours. It sold for $43,500. That is the 5th highest auction sale price I’ve seen on a 2WD 4560 since the beginning of 2014, so nearly 4 years. Here’s a picture of the 4560 sold for $43,500 today on the Illinois auction:
