Kevin Van Trump of Farm Direction said the markets are trying to digest yesterday's report. South American weather is still at the forefront of concern. Maybe more interest in Soybeans from China. Standard and Poor cut the French AAA rating, causing concern by outside markets.

Tom Grisafi of Indiana Grain Company says overnight markets were rather quiet, but corn spreads traded lower. Crude oil has been quite volatile in price. Remember, no trade Monday, so that may affect today's close.
Higher Grain Yields, Stocks Surprise Markets
Yesterday's bearish USDA report caused corn futures prices to drop to the daily limit of 40 cents

Nate Smith of the Gulke Group pointed out that the overnite trade prices were a bit higher based on weather in South America. When the markets opened (after the report information was made available), Corn was down the limit and hardly traded at all. Beans and Wheat both traded much lower.
