This 1979 John Deere 4840 with 5,671 hours sold for a new record of $50,000 on 6/28/22 at a farm auction in Francesville, IN.

It shattered the former record price of $38,500 from 3 years ago. The same Indiana auction had the 3rd highest auction price ever on John Deere 4440.
