“American Countryside” Joins Farm Journal Media

Just as this magazine went to press, we welcomed Andrew McCrea and his daily nationally syndicated radio program, “American Countryside,” to our Farm Journal Media family. Broadcast from his grain and livestock farm in northwest Missouri, the show features the people and places unique to rural America. On the air since 1996, the three-minute, short-form radio vignette airs on more than 100 stations across the Midwest.

In conjunction with the acquisition of the show, Farm Journal Broadcast will launch a television version of “American Countryside” to air on “U.S. Farm Report,” our weekend news report. The radio program will also be available online at www.agweb.com.

Don’t be surprised to see Andrew’s talents presented in this magazine in future issues. Farm Journal is one more way he can now reach farmers and ranchers.
